The Fab Four Smoothie is a formula to help you develop a blood sugar balancing meal replacement shake in any flavor with enough protein, fat and fiber to keep you full.


Many juice shops, grocery smoothie bars and smoothie recipes are loaded with sugar, specifically fructose sugar from excess fruit.

Fructose sugar stores as fat 20-30% faster than glucose. The Fab Four protein smoothie limits fructose to 1/4 cup!


The formula comes from the book “Body Love”. I love the concept, “making body-loving choices that empower people to be at their best.” One of body-loving choices is a nutrient-rich smoothie, which can leave you satisfied for hours and provide a more energizing start to the day, and @ ModernHealth-Wellness we have always incorporated this!

Here's the recipe:


Protein (20g min) + Fiber (10g min) + 1 Tbsp. Fat + Handful Greens + 1/4 Cup Fruit + Superfoods + Liquid

Green Smoothie

2 scoops Arbonne Vanilla Protein Powder

1 scoop Arbonne Fiber Boost

1 scoop Arbonne Greens Balance

1/2 avocado, or 2T coconut oil

1/2 cup kale or collard greens firmly packed, stems removed

1/4 Granny Smith apple 1/4 banana

1/4 cup loosely packed fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves

Combine kale, apple, banana, parsley, and liquid in a blender; blend until smooth. If the mixture is too thick, add a little more liquid


Green Berry Blast Smoothie

2 scoops Arbonne Protein Powder

1 scoop Arbonne Fiber Boost

1 organic cucumber, peeled if not organic

1/4 cup organic berries (blueberries, raspberries, or black berries) fresh or frozen

1/4 organic apple

3 - 4 organic dark green leaves (collards, swiss chard, spinach or kale)

1 - inch chunk organic ginger root

1/2 organic lemon

1/2 organic avocado

2 -3 drops stevia (optional)

Liquid

Cut the cucumber and apple in chunks. Place the liquid cucumber, apple and berries in a blender and process until smooth. Chop the greens and ginger and add to the blender along with the juice of half a lemon and process until smooth. Add the protein powder & an avocado and process until well blended.


Kiwi Lime Smoothie

2 scoops of Arbonne Vanilla Protein Powder

1 scoop Arbonne Fiber Boost

Handful of Greens or Arbonne Greens Balance

Handful of sliced kiwis

3 lime wedges squeezed, to intensify flavor add lime zest

6 -8 ice cubes

¼ cup Coconut milk Almond milk, consistency-should be slushy


Blueberry Avocado Smoothie

2 scoops Arbonne Vanilla Protein Powder

1 scoop Arbonne Fiber Boost

1 handful of fresh blueberries

1/2 ripe avocado

1T lime juice and pinch of zest

6 ice cubes

¼ c coconut water

Add Almond milk to make smooth consistency


Almond Butter and Banana

2 scoops Arbonne Vanilla Protein Powder (Chocolate or Vanilla)

1 scoop Arbonne Fiber Boost

handful of greens

½ banana

1 Tbsp almond butter

Ice cubes

12 oz. unsweetened almond or coconut milk


Almond Joy Shake

2 scoops Arbonne Vanilla Protein Powder

1 scoop Arbonne Fiber Boost

handful of greens

8 oz almond milk

2T coconut oil

1T cocoa powder

*May use 6 ice cubes and coconut milk to make a frosty drink!
